As part of Curating Roots: The Art of the Local Food Movement in Lansing, MICA is delighted to partner with DANCE Lansing Community Dance Project to further explore the themes of harvest, gathering and agriculture through a dance performance entitled Roots. This performance will use contemporary movement and ballet to address the themes of agriculture, harvest time, and community – subjects that ground us to our planet.

After the performance there will be an open discussion with the dancers and choreographers.
