Dance in the Gallery

The performers of DANCE Lansing: A Community Dance Project perform monthly at MICA Gallery. After the performance there will be an open discussion with the dancers and choreographers.

Dance Lansing is a collaboration with goals of building a diverse community of dancers to enrich the creative performance and development opportunities for area choreographers and dancers, and to increase audience appreciation and understanding of modern and contemporary dance. The foundation of this collaboration is a partnership of Happendance, Lansing Community College Performing Arts, Fusion Dance Center, Greater Lansing Ballet Company, MSU Orchesis Dance and MICA.

This family friendly event is free & open to the public.

Dance in the Gallery: Tutu Cool

The performers of DANCE Lansing: A Community Dance Project perform monthly at MICA Gallery. After the performance there will be an open discussion with the dancers and choreographers. This particular performance will showcase what is perhaps ballet’s most iconic costume – the tutu!

May Poetry Club Meeting

You’re invited to the May meeting of the poetry club where the members will write, discuss poetry and end with an open mic!

Lansing Poetry Club is the longest running poetry club in the Lansing area. This group of writers, poets and poetry lovers meet on the third Sunday of every month at MICA Gallery to write and discuss poetry.

There is always an open mic and these meetings are free and open to the public.
