Join us on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 for a Holiday inspired ballet performance called “A Nutcracker in a Nutshell”. This abbreviated version of some of the classic Holiday ballet dances will be performed by the Greater Lansing Ballet Co. at MICA Gallery. Two performances will be given, one at 2pm and one at 4pm.

It’s time to put on your leg warmers and headbands because DANCE Lansing will be dancing like it’s 1984! Join us for a performance that celebrates the best of the 80’s dance moves with a background of the top hits from 1984!
DANCE Lansing: A Community Dance Project is a collaboration with goals of building a diverse community of dancers to enrich the creative performance and development opportunities for area choreographers and dancers, and to increase audience appreciation and understanding of modern and contemporary dance. The foundation of this collaboration is a partnership of Happendance, Lansing Community College Performing Arts, Fusion Dance Center, Greater Lansing Ballet Company, MSU Orchesis Dance and MICA.

“Nutcracker in a Nutshell” Ballet Performance
The Nutcracker Ballet is a classic Holiday tradition. The Greater Lansing Ballet Company will perform an abridged version of the classic ballet entitled the “Nutcracker in a Nutshell” at MICA Gallery.
