You’re invited to the February meeting of the poetry club where the members will write, discuss poetry and end with an open mic!

Participants in the Open Mike are invited to read a poem involving some aspect of peace, which can include any of the following:

• a moment of peace
• a dream of peace
• the longing/struggle for peace
• the experience of peace
• obstacles to peace
• peace as it manifests in our lives
• ways that we create peace in our lives
• peace in the midst of conflict
• the ingredients needed for peace

We will have a basket of peace poems at the door, plus delicious refreshments.

The Open Mike will be followed by a brief meeting to discuss upcoming programming at the Lansing Poetry Club.
